Ever since I realized that I am nothing on my own and know nothing before God , and after I came before the Savior with this nothingness, namely, that He should be my life and my everything, I had every reason to be joyful. I could bring all my own and others' troubles before Him, Who did everything to help us. God's word and His wonderful promises brought me more and more joy every day, and I discovered more and more truths and promises that gave me reason to praise and thank Him. Emil Nigg

... I went for a short walk one afternoon. As I wanted to praise and pray on the way, I made my way towards the nearby forest and thought I'd take the narrow road to Interlaken. A Jézus Véréért való dicséret és köszönet, az Ő Szent Vérének győzelme , ezek voltak a legerősebb "gyógyszereim". Enélkül a titok nélkül nem jutottam volna túl a fájdalmaimon. Arra is rá kell mutatnom, hogy nem elégséges az, ha csak gyorsan, pár perc alatt mondunk dicséretet és köszönetet. Előfordult, hogy az éjszakában két-három órán át dicsértem és hálát adtam és dicsőítettem Jézus Vérének erejét, amíg a fájdalmak és szorongások el nem múltak.
