HE Tabernacled among us

Image
Short Meditation The relational change in Gd's New Testament. Jesus came to us as the personal message : The Word became flesh and dwelt {tabernacled} among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth... 1Jn 1:14 The Word became flesh, forever – and we are not to restore principles based on mere words and orders. We need to reorientate our diaries to make sure we're spending time with the people who need to hear & "hear" the Good News. For this reason, because I have heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love { agape - love } toward all the saints, I do not cease to give thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers, that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge* of him , having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope to which he has called you... Eph 1:14 *In the H...

His spiritual adviser became John Newton , a former slave trader who had repented and who had been the pas...

Our Incarnate Word {voice}

series: Our Living Word 1/3 Word, became flesh ..but what does it mean? Dear visitor! You can read a three-part series here, called "Our Living Word" in which we will examine: The connection between word and faith The change of form of the Word The help of the Holy Spirit Walking - according to the earthly ministry of Jesus The mercy-teachings of Jesus referring to prophet Hosea's words and their two dimensions We can also see a practical example from the nineteenth-century England We know that faith comes by hearing, and it is by the Word of Gd. (Romans 10:17) Originally, this means not simply the physical hearing of the Word, but the opened "ears" of the spiritual man the way the Word speaks to him/her personally. We also know that even the lifelong persistent work of human mind cannot catch and "understand" the Word by reason alone. The Word of God, the Logos is active: being given as a prophecy, visi...

The Hos 6:6

Image
series: Our Living Word 2/3 different thoughts and connections with Hosea 6:6 Unveiling a surprising blind spot ..which is important to Jesus As we saw in the first part of the "Living Word" series , our possibilities have fundamentally changed and they have become more extensive with the arrival of Jesus Christ. He knows that Hosea 6:6 holds a profound revelation, often overlooked yet crucial to us all. I'm going to show you some leading, helpful verses from this prophetic context. His mercy and grace will thus be more visible in this way. I desire steadfast love and not sacrifice, the knowledge of God rather than burnt offerings. Hos 6:6 Jesus quoted these words from the prophet Hosea twice, in two different situations. What for us is often just a "prophetic vindication" of an Old Testament crisis, for the Lord is two areas of crucial importance for the church in every covenant milestone and for every believer. L...
