Tune and Prepare!

These are verses I return to again and again—not to interpret them, but to listen to them. The apostle Paul’s way of thinking cuts through centuries of religious noise with surprising freshness. Let’s read them slowly and let the words settle wherever they may. study Our modern Bible editions spoil us, giving cosy overview of the biblical scriptures and helpful case studies when we meandering through the labyrinth of doctrines. However, our helpers sometimes mislead us by slicing up the original composition of thoughts. In the letter for the Galatians ap. Paul discusses spiritual slavery versus spiritual freedom. He is concerned about the status of the early Galatian churches. We are called by God out of the life of principle, {the Mosaic Law} to a personally disciplined and Heaven - supported life in Spirit and grace – which is a life-long learning progress. This closeness is a gift. Not by works, so that no one can boast. This is our base, our kick-start. And our direction too. It is written in the Prophets: “And they will all be taught by God.” (Is 54:13) Everyone who has listened to and learned from the Father comes to Me.. The biblical declaration of righteousness is best understood in "Paul's gospel." The apostle gives one of the most comprehensive explanations of our righteousness, which is central to the gospel, in his letters to the Galatians and the one of the most comprehensive explanations of our righteousness {justification} at the heart of the Gospel in his letters to the Galatians and Romans. This is what I learnt: The main difference between the Old Testament and the New Testament is not just that in this actual age we can communicate directly with God. It is also crucial to learn the essentials in person, by doing, in practice, rather than having to complete a List of Things to Do. A man under the Law is a man of tasks. When he has come to know Christ, his actions are motivated by love and they are inner driven. If not, it is out of fear or compulsion to perform sg, driven by self-righteous motives. The Christian, New man acts from an accepted & adopted position, in the beginning as a child, but later, often "independently", out of a desire: inspired by the Saviour as the godly character is being developed in him. The man without God needs a mediatorial layer to access heavenly things. The Christian man is himself an intermediary because Christ the Lord is the Mediator between God and man.
