Desiring mercy - love

Image
When Jesus/Yeshua/Isa was humiliated and lashed he had to learn the total annihilation. Annihilation by Sin and the mechanically used Law. By Sin: through our human cruel nature. By Law: through human "rules" the misunderstanding of the Holy Law, the ineffectiveness of the so called Law-culture. Facing its cruelty when it faces the mercy, release, grace and the domain of reconciliation. Hos 6:6 says: "I desire mercy {loyalty-love}   not sacrifice The knowledge of Gd   not burnt offerings" This is an essential ingredient for the dynamic of the Kingdom, even today. Knowledge of Gd = faithful loyal love. Mercy, (even when confronted with secular order, trend, or religious spirits) = sync with Gd. Consequently: If The knowledge of Gd is mercy, it's action. The knowledge of Gd is knowing/practicing His thoughts and living out them: This is how we read: "walking in the Truth" . John says: I was very glad when some brother...

El Oseas 6:6

La "amabilidad/bondad" cultural

Image

Cultural "Kindness"

Image
by Anne Kerhoulas Kindness seems to be everywhere these days. It’s posted on yard signs and granola bars, T-shirts, and posters for your home. Though kindness is not new, “Be kind!” has become an unofficial slogan, the currency on which a culture steeped in tolerance, affirmation, and acceptance runs. But for all the talk about kindness, our world is growing increasingly unkind, divided, and contemptuous. If kindness is so popular, why is our culture so harsh? Perhaps this brand of kindness is lacking, pretending to do and be good while unable to produce any real changes. In a world that’s hungry for kindness but often finds only emptiness, we must look to Scripture and the author of kindness to teach us what kindness truly is. Rooted in Love Cultural kindness is more about tolerance, being nice, and enduring differences without complaining than it is about love. It asks us only to be pleasant to those who are different from us —it doesn’t call us to love them. When k...

The Hos 6:6

Image
series: Our Living Word 2/3 different thoughts and connections with Hosea 6:6 Unveiling a surprising blind spot ..which is important to Jesus As we saw in the first part of the "Living Word" series , our possibilities have fundamentally changed and they have become more extensive with the arrival of Jesus Christ. He knows that Hosea 6:6 holds a profound revelation, often overlooked yet crucial to us all. I'm going to show you some leading, helpful verses from this prophetic context. His mercy and grace will thus be more visible in this way. I desire steadfast love and not sacrifice, the knowledge of God rather than burnt offerings. Hos 6:6 Jesus quoted these words from the prophet Hosea twice, in two different situations. What for us is often just a "prophetic vindication" of an Old Testament crisis, for the Lord is two areas of crucial importance for the church in every covenant milestone and for every believer. L...
