The main difference between the Old Testament and the New Testament

Image
This is what I learnt: The main difference between the Old Testament and the New Testament is not just that in this actual age we can communicate directly with God. It is also crucial to learn the essentials in person, by doing, in practice, rather than having to complete a List of Things to Do. A man under the Law is a man of tasks. When he has come to know Christ, his actions are motivated by love and they are inner driven. If not, it is out of fear or compulsion to perform sg, driven by self-righteous motives. The Christian, New man acts from an accepted & adopted position, in the beginning as a child, but later, often "independently", out of a desire: inspired by the Saviour as the godly character is being developed in him. The man without God needs a mediatorial layer to access heavenly things. The Christian man is himself an intermediary because Christ the Lord is the Mediator between God and man. When this relationship is built and flourishes, the...

Two dimensions of Worship Adoration Prayer

Image
Our Worship, Adoration & Prayer happens / works for two reasons; A. We humans worship Gd because He is the Mighty Gd and we are the creatures of his hand. He created the galaxies and - according to His Image - He created us to live in noble status before His presence. After the ruined status (the sin), He restored the sonship in us by giving us a reconciled, adopted status through His Son. B. We, believers, restored humans worship and pray with adoration because we want to focus on the Heavenly ID: seeing Gd by the Heaven first, learning the Heaven through Gd's eyes. We practice the new life, proclaiming & representing the Heaven as the royal priesthood: (1Pt 2:9), and from this position, "acting" the Heaven: "Your will be done on the Earth     as it is in the Heaven" · Paul's foundation · ID - Cause and Effect · Jesus' two prayer models

Can grace be overstated?

Image
The majority does not understand I think, it is no coincidence at all that the proclamation of God's grace has become real popular nowadays. Popularityalso means: beloved by the crowd. For most believers, including myself in the past, have not understood the Gospel at all, have not understood justification, have not understood regeneration, have not understood what Jesus did on the Cross, It was not understood that we have an abundant heritage, attached to our adopted status. Granted, given things for the believer's. Gifts, support, assets, ongoing sanctification for working with Christ according to our new ID: who we, believers have become in Christ. From this perspective, grace cannot be overstated /overloaded. From the Heavenly perspective everything is abundant and lavish! Mercy grace are lavishly given to us! Masses of believers to this day do not understand these things, their beliefs and thinking are opposed to the true reality ( aletheia ). Whi...

Fear VS Acceptance

Image
The apostolic "concept" of divine love, referred to as "Agape," is distinguished from other forms of love like friendship or affection. Agape is correctly understood as a cultural and linguistic concept (and not as a theological subject). In Greek, it is used for giving, absorbing love, sometimes describing events such as invitations, hospitality and celebrations, (often associated with weddings.) The link between the teachings of Jesus and this imagery is very close. Jesus Christ emphasizes that Agape is a representation of the invitation to His Kingdom. This invitation has consequences and various fruits in our lives. I begin this note with the Hymn of Love: 1Cor 13 If I am able to speak the language of men or of angels, but have not divine love in me, I shall be like a noisy cymbal or a rattling cymbal. If I have received the gift of prophecy, if I know all secret truths, if I have all knowledge, if I have faith so st...

The 3 weak segments of the protestant life

Image
..and their restoration This article is part of the "Vitalize" pack Pre Protestantism have seen many changes, variations, (and ramifications) since Martin Luther. Even in the early days, Calvin himself modified (theologically developed) Luther's original prophetic vision. Meanwhile, the ever-ubiquitous Catholic culture continues to "keep pace with the world" and with its needs in various human activities. I think We, faithful folks are not to be like them... We can see many strong, portfolio building trend: "come as you are" we hear "and do not change for the purse sake!" is the reason why. The result? Growth-centered mindset and technique, aiming quantity at the expense of quality. We have seen this before and although we repeat the warnings, this is a thriving practice for the sake of the church budget. The Portfolians are on the threshold, brothers! New strength and vitality In the following note, I would like to highligh...

From Guilt to the Throne

Image
Guilt or Throne? spiritual, mental hygiene, mutual need, purification, confidence, etc. This article is part of the "Vitalize" pack Dear saints and beloved! I recently visited a church which has a beautiful family life but suffers from a typical 21 century sickness. The guilt. Interestingly, leaders have told me that members are not as eager to come and get their lives back on track when they commit sins. They simply do not confess them openly. Since it is pastoral responsibility first - I really don't understand, why... The place we came from I believe that guilt is one of the most serious attacks on the humankind. People, nations can do "amazing" things to get rid of guilt. They walk thousands of miles, they squeeze themselves, they oppress themselves and unfortunately they oppress others just to see their own lives as superior and better. In fact, we see whole networks promising "grace" without any chanc...

Spiritual blessings for the faithful

Image
..as ap. Paul teaches about our ID 'He predestined us to be adopted' It's a meditation: Blue, underlined text describes the blessing, Yellow marks the faithful's part/actions. This article is part of the "Vitalize" pack Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by God’s will: To the faithful saints in Christ Jesus at Ephesus. Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Praise the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavens ... .. for He chose us in Him, before the foundation of the world, to be holy and blameless in His sight. In love He predestined us to be adopted through Jesus Christ for Himself, according to His favor and will, to the praise of His glorious grace that He favored us with in the Beloved. We have redemption in Him through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace that He lavishe...

Depression or Glory

Image
Who I am? Depression exists when we underestimate ourselves. When we look at ourselves on the natural way & observe the visible things: we turn away from the Heaven. The writer of the Ecclesiastes {King Salomon} says: “Absolute futility,” says the Teacher. “Absolute futility. Everything is futile.” What does a man gain for all his efforts that he labors at under the sun? Ecc 1:2-3 Perspective The above-mentioned section shows a problem. The problem of the perspective: " under the sun ". King Salomon started his life with splendour and glory and finished with multiple wives and concubines - alongside their multiple gods/goddesses... Well... We're not meant to focus on things "under the sun". If we did, we missed the point. Let us only be illuminated from the side of heaven! When adoration & praise happen, alongside with the worship – Heaven happens. This was the original, Davidic heritage for Salomon! 2Chron 5 7 The ...

Two Different Eras

Image
study in the chapterhouse Two different Eras: Mosaic Law vs. New Testament At   the coming of Jesus, the Judaism of the age had to decide on his authenticity. Let us not forget that the whole belief system was at stake. We know their decision well, reading the struggles and lives of the apostles, but many times we do not grasp the spiritual connections: what is happening in our daily lives, according to the Law. A XX. century 'gospel movements' - although they unable to efface the horrific memories of the Holocaust - have great, active sympathy for Israel, knowing that "to them belong the adoption, the glory, the covenants, the giving of the law, the worship, and the promises. To them belong the patriarchs, and from their race, according to the flesh, is the Christ, who is God over all ..." (Rom. 9:4-5) In Matthew 5:17, Jesus / Yeshua also emphasized the role of the Mosaic Law and the Prophetic writings: Do not think that I have come to invalidate th...
