The Roaming Spirit Trader

Image
(acidic text) Intro Proper self-assessment is a delicate matter. It requires an orderly system of personal relationships and a great deal of grace. When we calmly and lovingly endure our conflicts and learn from them, when the unknown and invisible areas become smaller and smaller and our weaknesses, which are understandable to others from the outside, become more and more obvious, then our self-esteem problems also decrease significantly. They do not disappear—we live in a sinful world—but they are not the main problem and, above all, they do not provide a basis for false identity and compensatory behavior. {At the same time, I admit and confess that I am familiar with the following from personal failures or temptations.} Restless souls However, there are restless souls. Those who always have a ready explanation and justification for the correctness of their actions. These are mostly extroverted individuals whose satisfaction factor only reaches around 98% whe...

A Kóborló Szellem-Árus

(The Roaming Spirit-Trader - acidic text) Intro A helyes önértékelés kényes jószág.

faithful, genuine heart 01

short study Paul's Focus: have a faithful, genuine heart! Throughout the entire teaching of the Bible, we can see the truth that concerns the condition of the heart { "lébab" or "leb" in the Old Testament}. Leb is a powerful Hebrew word meaning the heart, but it signifies much more than the physical organ. The heart is the central part of our thinking and personality before God. It is not only the seat of our emotions, but also the central place of our personal decisions and convictions. Leb representing the inner self, mind, will, emotions, and core personality, the "control center" where intellect, desires, and morality reside This makes it easier to understand the teaching of the Apostle Paul in his letter to the Romans: One person esteems one day as better than another, while another esteems all days alike. Each one should be fully convinced in his own mind. Romans 14:5 Recommended book   Hans Walter Wolff: An...

La bendición de Melquisedec — Nuestro sacerdocio

Image

Melchizedek's blessing — Our Priesthood

Image
meditation Melchizedek's blessing The priesthood of the New Testament is far superior to that of the Levirate, because it is based on the blessing given to Abraham, which leads us to Christ and His highest Priesthood. When the fullness of time had come

But when the fullness of time had come, God sent forth his Son, born of woman, born under the Law, to redeem those who were under the Law, so that we might receive adoption as sons.   And because you are sons, God has sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, crying, “Abba! Father!”   So you are no longer a slave, but a son, and if a son, then an heir through God. Galatians 4:4-7 Coming soon... a Slideshow for this article

About prophecies - briefly

Image
brief notices Pre Prophecy is one of the most mishandled topics in today's church — and also one of the most avoided in serious theological circles. Not everything that was, still is. Read it as a map, not a sermon. Authority and Infallibility In the Old Testament, prophets spoke with absolute divine authority as God's direct mouthpieces, and their words were considered infallible and equal to Scripture itself. False prophets in the OT were to be put to death if their predictions didn't come true (Deuteronomy 18:20-22) In the New Testament era, the gift of prophecy is primarily for edification, encouragement, and comfort rather than for leading and guiding God's people with absolute authority. New Testament prophecy must be weighed and tested by the community of believers, and it can contain human error. {see the notice below} Primary Purpose Nearly every Old Testament prophet pointed forward to Christ, revealing the mystery of God that ...

Old vs New Testament prophets

Image
The Distinction between Old Testament Prophetic Office and New Testament Prophecy: Authority, Function, and Reliability by Stephen Gyesaw, Dr. intro Prophecy has always played a central role in God's communication with His people, but prophecy's nature, authority, and purpose differ markedly between the Old and New Testaments. This distinction is critical to understanding how prophecy functions today within the Church and why it is essential to maintain the authority of Scripture over any individual prophetic utterance. Old Testament prophecies In the Old Testament (OT), prophets spoke infallibly as God's mouthpieces. In contrast, in the New Testament (NT), prophecy-particularly as exercised by ordinary Christians-is a gift primarily for edification and encouragement, but not without the potential for human error. This difference calls for caution, particularly in today's context, where self-proclaimed "prophets" often operate without accou...

..that I am nothing on my own

Image
Ever since I realized that I am nothing on my own and know nothing before God , and after I came before the Savior with this nothingness, namely, that He should be my life and my everything, I had every reason to be joyful. I could bring all my own and others' troubles before Him, Who did everything to help us. God's word and His wonderful promises brought me more and more joy every day, and I discovered more and more truths and promises that gave me reason to praise and thank Him. Emil Nigg

..hogy magamtól semmi vagyok,

Image
Verses about the Trinity - in the Old Testament

Couple of days ago I met a young Muslim man on the cyber marketplace of the internet. He was zealous and fervent. His anger - partially - was right. Being hurted by the western imperialism and separated from the good news He has no peaceful message from Christians who fulfill the Great Commission: sharing the Good News for all nations... Beyond (and apart from) the political reasons, here's the answer for his question: Q: ... and what about the Trinity in the old testament? A: Well. Okay. You have asked. Let we see : — — — Old Testament passages that refer to God's Son and the Spirit of God. 1.Passages about God's Son: Psalm 2:7 - "I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, You art my Son; this day have I begotten you " {This is part of a royal psalm where God Mighty addresses the king.} Proverbs 30:4 - "Who had ascended up into heaven, or descended? who had gathered the wind in his fists? who had bound the ...
