Be More God-conscious

 We’re fighting our battles by God’s strategies. “The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds” (2 Cor. 10:4 NIV).

Apostle Paul wrote, “Strive together with me in your prayers to God on my behalf” (Rom. 15:30). 

We have become too enemy-conscious. We need to be more God-conscious, so that we can laugh the laugh of faith, knowing that we have power over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19). He has already lost control because of Calvary, where the Lamb was slain.



Jesus said, “If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will the heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!” (Luke 11:13). 

“How much more will the heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit . . .” We don’t have to deserve the Holy Spirit, but we do have to ask: “. . . to those who ask him!” 

God is calling us into lifestyle prayer so that we experience lifelong power.

The Birds of farmer Joseph

 Once a farmer lived in a valley of full bearings. His name was Joseph. He planted fabulous gardens amongst century old trees. His roses and flowery shrubs beckoned the groggy bees from miles. His fruit trees were full of cindrous peaches, flushing pears and honey coloured almonds. People from far countries admired the plants of farmer Joseph. But the neighbouring farmers didn’t envy farmer Joseph for his plants but for his birds. The sounds of twitter always could be heared in his orchard, light of the brilliant colourful feathers blinked from everywhere. The birds stormed from branch to branch.
