you with your own hand
  drove out the nations,
but them you planted;
you afflicted the peoples,
but them you set free;
for not by their own sword
  did they win the land,
nor did their own arm save them,
but your right hand and your arm,
and the light of your face,
for you delighted in them.
Ps 44:2-3

Sing praises to God, sing praises!
Sing praises to our King, sing praises!
For God is the King of all the earth;
sing praises with a psalm!
God reigns over the nations;
God sits on his holy throne.
The princes of the peoples gather
as the people of the God of Abraham.
For the shields of the earth belong to God;
he is highly exalted!
Ps 47:6-9

His splendor covers the heavens,
and the earth is full of His praise.
His brilliance is like light;
rays are flashing from His hand.
This is where His power is hidden.

Hab 3:2-4
to us a child is born,
to us a son is given;
and the government shall be
  upon his shoulder,
and his name shall be called
Wonderful Counselor,
Mighty God,
Everlasting Father,
Prince of Peace.

Of the increase of his government
  and of peace
there will be no end,
Isaiah 9:6-7
Destroyer VS Redeemer
By faith he {Moses} kept the Passover and sprinkled the blood, so that the Destroyer of the Firstborn might not touch them

Heb 11:28
“List all the firstborn males of the people of Israel, from month old and upward, taking the number of their names. And you shall take the Levites for me—I am the LORD—instead of all the firstborn among the people of Israel,
..
The Levites shall be mine: I am the LORD.
Num 3:40-47
God has a sovereign right to make a firstborn!
We can see God's Pattern of Reversing Expectations
Throughout Genesis, God repeatedly chose younger sons over older ones: Isaac over Ishmael, Jacob over Esau, Joseph over Reuben, Ephraim over Manasseh.
I have found David, my servant; with my holy oil I have anointed him,
so that my hand shall be established with him;
My faithfulness and my steadfast love* shall be with him,
and in my name shall his horn be exalted.
And I will make him the firstborn,
the highest of the kings of the earth.
My steadfast love I will keep for him forever,
and my covenant will stand firm for him.
I will establish his offspring forever...
Ps. 89:20... *chesed
“He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High.* The Lord God will give him the throne of his father David, and he will reign over Jacob’s descendants forever;
His kingdom will never end.”
Luk 1:32
*Abraham - Melchizedek covenant
He is the head of the body, the church.
He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in everything he might be preeminent.
For in him all the fullness of God was pleased to dwell, and through him to reconcile to himself all things
Colossians 1:18-19.
Now if perfection had been attainable through the Levitical priesthood (for under it the people received the Law), what further need would there have been for another priest to arise after the order of Melchizedek, rather than one named after the order of Aaron?
For when there is a change in the priesthood, there is necessarily a change in the Law as well.
...
...it is evident that our Lord was descended from Judah, and in connection with that tribe Moses said nothing about priests.
This becomes even more evident when another priest arises in the likeness of Melchizedek, who has become a priest, not on the basis of a legal requirement {the Law}, but by the power of an indestructible life. For it is witnessed of him,
  “You are a priest forever,
  after the order of Melchizedek.”
  ...
  “The Lord has sworn
  and will not change his mind,
  ‘You are a priest forever.’”

This makes Jesus the guarantor of a better covenant.

He satisfies the longing soul, and the hungry soul He fills with good things.
Ps. 107:9
You will call to Me
and come and pray to Me,
and I WILL Listen to you.
You will seek ME and find Me
when you search for Me
with all your heart.
Jer 29:12

The Aroma
we are the aroma of Christ to God
among those who are being saved
and among those who are perishing,
to one a fragrance from death to death,
to the other a fragrance from life to life.
Who is sufficient for these things?
For we are not, like so many, peddlers of God’s word, but as men of sincerity, as commissioned by God, in the sight of God we speak in Christ.
2Cor 2:15
And you show that you are a letter from Christ delivered by us, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts.
2Cor 3:3
For if there was glory in the ministry of condemnation, the ministry of righteousness must far exceed it in glory..
Since we have such a hope, we are very bold not like Moses... who would put a veil over his face so that the Israelites might not gaze at the outcome of what was being brought to an end.
But when one turns to the Lord, the veil is removed. Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.
And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another.
For this comes from the Lord Who is The Spirit.
2Cor 3:12-18

Keep your heart with all vigilance,
for from it flow the springs of life.

Proverbs 4:23 - ESV

..forgetting what lies behind,
straining forward to what lies ahead,
I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

Philippi 3:13-14

His splendor covers the heavens,

Hab 3:2-4

· He grew up before Him like a young plant
and like a root out of dry ground.
He didn’t have an impressive form
or majesty that we should look at Him,
no appearance that we should desire Him.
· He was despised and rejected by men,
a man of suffering who knew what sickness was.
He was like someone people turned away from;
He was despised, and we didn’t value Him.
· Yet He Himself bore our sicknesses,
and He carried our pains;
but we in turn regarded Him stricken,
struck down by God, and afflicted.
· But He was pierced because of our transgressions,
crushed because of our iniquities;
punishment for our peace was on Him,
and we are healed by His wounds.
· We all went astray like sheep;
we all have turned to our own way;
and the Lord has punished Him
for the iniquity of us all.
· He was oppressed and afflicted,
yet He did not open His mouth.
Like a lamb led to the slaughter
and like a sheep silent before her shearers,
He did not open His mouth.
· He was taken away because of oppression and judgment;
and who considered His fate?
For He was cut off from the land of the living;
He was struck because of my people’s rebellion.

Isaiah 53

Abraham sacrificed virtually everything in Isaac that was important to him. It was then that he came very close to the Eternal God who sacrificed His only son, only heir for us.
When we offer our treasures for God and make sacrifices for others that require total devotion, we move out of the confines of our religion and come close to the redeeming God.

He who is slow to anger is better than the mighty,
And he who rules his spirit than he who takes a city.
Proverbs 16:32 - NKJV

If Someone has paid an ultimate price for you

“…casting all your care on Him,
because He cares about you.”
1Pt 5:6-7

Worry is a conversation you have with yourself
about things you cannot change.
Prayer is a conversation you have with God
about things He can change.

He who is slow to anger is better than the mighty,
And he who rules his spirit than he who takes a city.
Proverbs 16:32 - NKJV

Be alert, stand firm in the faith,
act like a man, be strong.
Your every action must be done with love.
1 Corinthians 16:13-14

Moses said:
“Now if I have indeed found favor in Your sight, please teach me Your ways, and I will know You
and find favor in Your sight.
Now consider that this nation is Your people.”
Then He replied,
“My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.”

Exodus 33:13-14

When we pray for our adversaries:
Jesus's will is the restoration,
not the condemnation..
Not to mention revenge.

Come to me with your ears wide open.
Listen, and you will find life,
I will make an everlasting covenant with you. I will give you all the unfailing love I promised to David!

Isa 55:3

See what great love the Father has lavished on us,
that we should be called children of God!
And that is what we are!
The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know Him.
1jn 3:1

From my heart a festive voice springs

He is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think.
Eph. 3:20
How great is Your goodness
that You have stored up for those who fear You
and accomplished in the sight of everyone
for those who take refuge in You.
Ps 31:19
Your faithful love is so valuable that people take refuge in the shadow of Your wings.
Ps 36:7
The Angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear Him, and rescues them.
Taste and see that the Lord is good. How happy is the man who takes refuge in Him!
Ps 34:7-8
the Lord will again delight in your prosperity, as He delighted in that of your fathers, when you obey the Lord your God..
Deut 30:9-10

If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!
Mt 7:11

The wisdom from above is first pure,
then peace-loving, gentle, compliant,
full of mercy and good fruits.
Jms 3:17

See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are.
The reason why the world does not know us is that it did not know him. Beloved, we are God’s children now, and what we will be has not yet appeared;
but we know that when he appears we shall be like him, because we shall see him as he is.
And everyone who thus hopes in him purifies himself as he is pure.

1 John 3:1-3

not by their own sword did they win the land,
nor did their own arm save them, but your right hand and your arm, and the light of your face, for you delighted in them.
Psalm 44:9

“For YHWH takes pleasure in His people;
He adorns the humble with salvation”
- the humble hearted
- the reliant
- the trustful
