Megszabadultak bűneiktől és meggyógyultak Jézus által

- Az, hogy módjában állt ilyen rendkívüli módon segíteni az embereknek, gondolom bizonyos elégtételt adott Önnek. Nagyon örültem, nagyon-nagyon, ha észrevettem, hogy egyesek meggyógyultak. De sose felejtettem el, ki volt a Segítő. Ha jött ilyen levél, letérdeltem ezekkel a szavakkal: - Nézd, Üdvözítőm ez Rád vonatkozik, a köszönet a Tiéd, de ugye én is örvendhetek ezért? - Volt beteglelkipásztor is? - Gondolom a beteg feletti ima és a beteg lelkigondozása együvé tartoznak. Ha beteghez hívtak, az volt az első kérdésem az imádság előtt: “Minden rendben van ön és az Üdvözítő között?” Sok esetben következett beismerés, amely szabaddá tette az utat a hit imája felé. Jakab nem hiába írta: “…ha bűnt követett is el, bocsánatot nyer” (Jak.5,14-17) ... Itt a gutaütött meggyógyulásának történetére gondolok (Máté 9,2), ahol azt Jézus előbb bűneiből oldotta fel, s csak azután gyógyította meg.
