 To fulfill your mission will require that you abandon your agenda and accept God’s agenda for your life. You can’t just “tack it on” to all the other things you’d like to do with your life. You must say, like Jesus, “Father,… I want your will, not mine .” Luke 22:42 (NLT) . You yield your rights, expectations, dreams, plans, and ambitions to him. You stop praying selfish prayers like “God bless what I want to do.” Instead you pray, “God help me to do what you’re blessing!” You hand God a blank sheet with your name signed at the bottom and tell him to fill in the details. The Bible says, “ Give yourselves completely to God—every part of you…to be tools in the hands of God, to be used for his good purposes .” Romans 6:13b (LB) . If you will commit to fulfilling your mission in life no matter what it costs, you will experience the blessing of God in ways that few people ever experience. Pre We have left 2020 behind us. Everyone has probably seen and heard fake and untrue news on TV, on the internet or from people they know in the immediate vicinity. The time has come when not only images but also video material can be created almost completely altering the original information or character. Different words than the original are put into people's mouths in the media, different gestures are made, small differences, big differences, not conveying quite the same original thinking. Not quite the same & almost the original. This is the alchemy of the liar. Since the Scriptures are the Word of the Everlasting God, it is not surprising that they prophetically foretell the events that are to come. Therefore, we can anticipate that the lies of the evil one will spread in many new areas and in new ways. Is God Calling Us to Fast?

Phil Moore When the British Isles stood on the brink of French invasion in the run-up to the Seven Years War, King George II did something rather remarkable. He proclaimed a solemn day of prayer and fasting in which he called his nation to petition God for deliverance. John Wesley records in his Journal for Friday 6th February 1756 that "The fast day was a glorious day, such as London has scarce seen since the Restoration. Every church in the city was more than full, and a solemn seriousness sat on every face. Surely God heareth prayer, and there will yet be a lengthening of our tranquillity.” John Wesley was right. The French invasion was averted and Britain would go on to win the war. A few years later, when the American colonists began their revolution against British rule, one of the first rulings of the Continental Congress was that the revolutionists ought to do the same.
