Lament

We are wrong...

We think that we can work out this situation by lent and prayer.

But we are wrong. Our hearts are hard, our mouth are filled with empty cliché. Our congregations are cold, sometimes filled with filia but rarely filled with agape. We are not representing Him – just talking. TED talking, conducting conferences - like the World.
Our mindset has been lured by the orators. We are now trapped because of this.

Dan 9. is true with all the described self indulgence.

We the "Christians" have ceased the salty life.
We have ceased to be salty.

We are wrong.

The World's pride/filth/violence factor increased by idolatry - since the church's Nicolaite factor increased by the permissiveness.

The World's braveness in fleshy actions are growing - since the church's cowardice in fleshy actions is growing.

We have unrepentant heart and ignorance:
we've turned away from the living Logos, the incarnate Devar, the personal Word we have stubbornly followed our created doctrines, commandments – without Compassion and Mercy.

We're wrong – Now, we are facing the merciless spirit.
Make sure that you do not reject the One who speaks. For if they did not escape when they rejected Him who warned them on earth, even less will we if we turn away from Him who warns us from heaven. His voice shook the earth at that time, but now He has promised, “Yet once more I will shake not only the earth but also heaven.” This expression, “Yet once more,” indicates the removal of what can be shaken — that is, created things — so that what is not shaken might remain.
Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us hold on to grace. By it, we may serve God acceptably, with reverence and awe, for our God is a consuming fire.
Heb 12:25

Then he opened their minds to understand the Scriptures, and said to them,
“Thus it is written, that the Christ should suffer and on the third day rise from the dead, and that repentance and forgiveness of sins should be proclaimed in his name to all nations..”
Lk 24:45

Why do we build a throne for God?

W hen Jesus was born he got a 3 part gift collection from the wise men who arrived from the mythical far east. The pack contained:  · Gold  · Frankincense  · Myrrh with good reason. First of all, he (his parents: Joseph and Mary) received it for practical reasons, as the family had to flee to Egypt immediately, and that is a huge undertaking even for a relatively well-off family. And they were not among them. The journey was a painful and fearful necessity, and the completely new environment demanded a whole new way of life and genuine faith.* A carpenter obviously found work in Egypt too, but for an entire family, this whole transition was not quite so simple. Women were not part of the breadwinning class, and raising children in safety and peace is not possible without a stable foundation. Secondly, these gifts came from a spiritual source (from the Magii) where people who were far from God and His covenant openly ...

Why the Fulfillment of Old Testament Prophecy Still Matters

An Overlooked Argument for Christianity Why the Fulfillment of Old Testament Prophecy Still Matters August 27, 2026 — Gavin Ortlund © iStock.com/EvanTravels J esus is a compelling historical figure. This is the case because of his own life and influence, but it also comes into view in the context of the larger biblical story. The Bible does not start with Jesus. He comes toward the end—like a long-awaited hero after much darkness and anguish. Specifically, Jesus arrives in history as the fulfillment of the hopes of a nation in the ancient world (the people of Israel). We’re familiar with this concept of a “messiah” outside the Bible. We know what it’s like to long for a deliverer. We understand how Morpheus feels toward Neo in The Matrix, or how people can develop such high hopes for an incoming political leader. What if this is what Jesus is for humanity? What if he’s the One we’ve all been waiting for—the hero in the long and troubled story of human history? Me...

Our Lord Jesus Christ

Image
a sermon from Dr Martyn Lloyd-Jones including the main messianic prophecies You will recall that last Friday evening, in finishing our consideration of the doctrine of the covenant, the Great Covenant of Grace, we ended by emphasizing the fact that the covenant in both its expressions or in both its dispensations always points to the person of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. And therefore, we have come to our consideration of this great biblical doctrine of or concerning the Lord Jesus Christ. Now, while this is obviously and clearly not the starting point of biblical doctrine, it is certainly the core and the centre of biblical doctrine [the differentia of Christianity] ... We start with the great doctrine of God and how God has revealed himself and men and his need and so on. But obviously, we come to this which, as I say, is the core and the centre of biblical doctrine. Because the truth concerning the Lord Jesus Christ is at one and the same time the centra...
