The dishwasher

The dishwasher is constantly working in the hostel where I now live.

Every day is about how much we need it. Although an incredible amount of water and detergent runs out - even under the tap - the day always starts with clearing the "yesterday’s ruins" by packing the washing machine full then start.

At times, however, I can no longer stand the ever sticky cutlery full of the dirt: I pull out the drawer and there's a lot of "washed out" stuff - they're simply, sticky!

So I take a big breath and wash them, by hand, all together, at the same time! .. the glasses, knives, forks.

Well! .. Clean for a while!

This is because the goal is not to "use the achievements of technology", but to keep the stuff clean, you know, what we put in our mouths.

So this morning I remembered how so we are with standardized and institutionalized religions, meditations, TED talks.. and briefings.. You go in - you come out. "Clean," adjusted – the majority says. “Inside, the washer beam is up and down. Just wait a bit and you're done.”

Luckily, Jesus, {who is also The Christ=Redeemer} made a decision otherwise. He gave a pattern when he demolished a religious institution and started personally dealing with our dirty little lives (my life too). Then he left us here sending his Holy {pure} Spirit, continuing the work of Healing and Restoration.

Luckily Jesus made a decision otherwise. He gave a pattern when he demolished a religious institution and started personally dealing with our dirty little lives

I growl after the 20th knife / spoon, meanwhile He also wants to clean up the 20th dzillionth life.

When Peter, the apostle was first confronted with this method, he growled:

"You shall never wash my feet."

Noble determination for your self - cleansing. Dreadlocks may know the trick, but most of the things all around in this deteriorating world aren’t that skillful sci-fi stuff.

"If I don't wash you, you have no share with me." - so is Jesus Christ.

And yet, in this age of quick fix, instant coffe, many people prefer The Machine in every area.

It is true that the "machinic method" does not bring down the multi layered plaque and the things that have been burned on it. It is true that it uses standard detergents that are often harmful to the environment. And the crowd says "Never mind! We did the thing."

Yet I think: He who is Christ - He knows better. He is the Savior and knows what, when and how to be saved.

"If I can't wash your feet, we have nothing to do with each other ... The one who has bathed does not need to wash, except for his feet, but is completely clean ..."

 Understand :

You all, my follower guys are walking in this dusty and polluted world every day. And I will cleanse you: this is my business.

 Followers!

"If  I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet. For I have given you an example, that you also should do just as I have done to you. Truly, truly, I say to you,  a servant is not greater than his master, nor is a messenger greater than the one who sent him.  ... ”

 {John 13}
