We, Christians are...

For our sake He made HIM to be sin
who knew no sin, so that in him we might become
The Righteousness of God.
2Cor 5:21

Covenant bearers

Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good;

His faithful love endures forever.

1 Chron.16:34

But you, Israel, My servant, Jacob, whom I have chosen, descendant of Abraham, My friend — I brought you from the ends of the earth and called you from its farthest corners. I said to you: You are My servant; I have chosen you and not rejected you.

Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you; I will help you; I will hold on to you with My righteous right hand.

Be sure that all who are enraged against you will be ashamed and disgraced; those who contend with you will become as nothing and will perish. You will look for those who contend with you, but you will not find them. Those who war against you will become absolutely nothing.

For I, JHWH your God, hold your right hand and say to you: Do not fear, I will help you. Do not fear, you worm Jacob, you men of Israel: I will help you — this is the Lord ’s declaration. Your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel.

See, I will make you into a sharp threshing board, new, with many teeth. You will thresh mountains and pulverize them and make hills into chaff. You will winnow them and a wind will carry them away, a gale will scatter them.

But you will rejoice in the Lord; you will boast in the Holy One of Israel. The poor and the needy seek water, but there is none; their tongues are parched with thirst. I, JHWH, will answer them; I, the God of Israel, will not forsake them. I will open rivers on the barren heights, and springs in the middle of the plains. I will turn the desert into a pool of water and dry land into springs of water. I will plant cedars in the desert, acacias, myrtles, and olive trees. I will put juniper trees in the desert, elms and cypress trees together, so that all may see and know, consider and understand, that the hand of the Lord has done this, the Holy One of Israel has created it.

Is.41:8-20

No (invisible or visible) weapon formed against you will succeed...

This is the heritage of the Lord ’s servants, and their righteousness is from Me.

Is.54:17

Those who are blessed by Him will inherit the land, but those cursed by Him will be destroyed.

A man’s steps are established by the Lord, and He takes pleasure in his way. Though he falls, he will not be overwhelmed, because the Lord holds his hand.

Psalms 37:22-24

Let those who want my vindication shout for joy and be glad; let them continually say, “The Lord be exalted. He takes pleasure in His servant’s well-being.” And my tongue will proclaim Your righteousness, Your praise all day long.

Psalms 35:27-28

Haven’t I commanded you: be strong and courageous? Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

Josh.1:9

Don’t fear sudden danger or the ruin of the wicked when it comes, for the Lord will be your confidence and will keep your foot from a snare.

Prov. 3:25-26

Now the eye of the Lord is on those who fear Him — those who depend on His faithful love

Ps. 33:18

I will instruct you and show you the way to go; with My eye on you, I will give counsel. Many pains come to the wicked, but the one who trusts in the Lord will have faithful love surrounding him.

Be glad in the Lord and rejoice, you righteous ones; shout for joy, all you upright in heart.

Ps. 32:8, 10-11

...and My people who are called by My name humble themselves, pray and seek My face, and turn from their evil ways, then I will hear from heaven, forgive their sin, and heal their land.

2 Chron. 7:14

This is what the Lord says: The wise man must not boast in his wisdom; the strong man must not boast in his strength; the wealthy man must not boast in his wealth. But the one who boasts should boast in this, that he understands and knows Me — that I am JHWH, showing faithful love, justice, and righteousness on the earth, for I delight in these things. This is the Lord ’s declaration.

Jer. 9:23-24

Now this is what the Lord says — the One who created you, Jacob, and the One who formed you, Israel — “Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; you are Mine. I will be with you when you pass through the waters, and when you pass through the rivers, they will not overwhelm you. You will not be scorched when you walk through the fire, and the flame will not burn you.

For I JHWH your God, the Holy One of Israel, and your Savior, give Egypt as a ransom for you, Cush and Seba in your place. Because you are precious in My sight and honored, and I love you, I will give people in exchange for you and nations instead of your life.

Isaiah 43:1-4

I will sow her in the land for Myself, and I will have compassion on No Compassion; I will say to Not My People: You are My people, and he will say, “You are My God.”

Hosea 2:23

But he who is noble plans noble things, and on noble things he stands.

Isaiah 32:8

Owners of a NEW status

In these last days, He has spoken to us by His Son. God has appointed Him heir of all things and made the universe through Him. The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact expression of His nature, sustaining all things by His powerful word.

After making purification for sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high. So He became higher in rank than the angels, just as the name He inherited is superior to theirs.

Heb. 1:2-4

"The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because He has anointed Me to proclaim good news to the poor.

He has sent Me to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed, to proclaim the year of the Lord's Favor." (Is.61:1)

And he began to say to them, "Today this Scripture has been fulfilled in your hearing."

Luke 4:18-19,21

He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed.

1 Peter 2:24

...how much more will the blood of the Messiah, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without blemish to God, cleanse our consciences from dead works to serve the living God?

Heb. 9:14

For all who rely on the works of the Law are under a curse, because it is written: Everyone who does not continue doing everything written in the book of the Law is cursed. Now it is clear that no one is justified before God by the Law, because the righteous will live by faith. But the Law is not based on faith; instead, the one who does these things will live by them.
Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the Law by becoming a curse for us, because it is written: Everyone who is hung on a tree is cursed. The purpose was that the blessing of Abraham would come to the Gentiles by Christ Jesus, so that we could receive the promised Spirit through faith.

Galatians 3:10-14

Love covers many sins

1Cor. 13

..the entire fullness of God’s nature dwells bodily in Christ, and you have been filled by Him, who is the head over every ruler and authority.
..when you were dead in trespasses and in the uncircumcision of your flesh, He made you alive with Him and forgave us all our trespasses.

He erased the certificate of debt, with its obligations, that was against us and opposed to us, and has taken it out of the way by nailing it to the cross.

Col 2:9-10; 2:13

For if the inheritance is from the Law, it is no longer from the promise; but God granted it to Abraham through the promise. Why then was the Law given? It was added because of transgressions until the Seed to whom the promise was made would come.

Gal. 3:18-19

The Law, then, was our guardian paidagogos until Christ, so that we could be justified by faith. But since that faith has come, we are no longer under a guardian, for you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ like a garment. There is no Jew or Greek, slave or free, male or female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. And if you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed, heirs according to the promise.

Gal. 3:24-29

Now I say that as long as the heir is a child, he differs in no way from a slave, though he is the owner of everything. Instead, he is under guardians and stewards until the time set by his father. In the same way we also, when we were children, were in slavery under the elemental forces of the world. When the time came to completion, God sent His Son, born of a woman, born under the Law, to redeem those under the Law, so that we might receive adoption as sons. And because you are sons, God has sent the Spirit of His Son into our hearts, crying, “Abba, Father! ” So you are no longer a slave but a son, and if a son, then an heir through God.

Gal. 4:1-7

His divine power has given us everything required for life and godliness through the knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and goodness. By these He has given us very great and precious promises, so that through them you may share in the divine nature, escaping the corruption that is in the world because of evil desires. Therefore I will always remind you about these things, even though you know them and are established in the truth you have.

2 Peter 1:3-4,12

Every generous act and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights; with Him there is no variation or shadow cast by turning. By His own choice, He gave us a new birth by the message of truth so that we would be the firstfruits of His creatures.

Jms 1:17-18

For the entire fullness of God’s nature dwells bodily in Christ, and you have been filled by Him, who is the head over every ruler and authority.

Col. 2:9-10

Once you were not a people, but now you are God’s people; you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.

1 Peter 2:10 HCSB

Mercy triumphs over judgement.

Jms. 2:12-13

But God, who is rich in Mercy, because of His great love that He had for us, made us alive with the Messiah even though we were dead in trespasses.

You are saved by Grace!

Together with Christ Jesus He also raised us up and seated us in the heavens, so that in the coming ages He might display the immeasurable riches of His Grace through His kindness to us in Christ Jesus.

For you are saved by Grace through faith, and this is not from yourselves; it is God’s gift — not from works, so that no one can boast. For we are His creation, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared ahead of time so that we should walk in them.

Eph. 2:4-10

According to His great Mercy, He has given us a new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead and into an inheritance that is imperishable, uncorrupted, and unfading, kept in heaven for you. You are being protected by God’s power through faith for a salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time.

1 Peter 1:3-5

Now may the God of peace, who brought up from the dead our Lord Jesus — the great Shepherd of the sheep — with the blood of the everlasting covenant, equip you with all that is good to do His will, working in us what is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ. Glory belongs to Him forever and ever. Amen.

Heb. 13:20-21

As obedient children, do not be conformed to the desires of your former ignorance. But as the One who called you is holy, you also are to be holy in all your conduct; for it is written, Be holy, because I am holy.

1 Peter 1:14-16

So if you have been raised with the Messiah, seek what is above, where the Messiah is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on what is above, not on what is on the earth.

For you have died, and your life is hidden with the Messiah in God. When the Messiah, who is your life, is revealed, then you also will be revealed with Him in glory.

Col. 3:1-2. 3-4

Do not lie to one another, since you have put off the old self with its practices and have put on the new self. You are being renewed in knowledge according to the image of your Creator.

Col. 3:9-10

Because they (the jews) disregarded the righteousness from God and attempted to establish their own righteousness, they have not submitted themselves to God’s righteousness. For Christ is the end of the Law for righteousness to everyone who believes.

Rom. 10:3-4

...you have come to Mount Zion, to the city of the living God (the heavenly Jerusalem), to myriads of angels in festive gathering, to the assembly of the firstborn whose names have been written in heaven, to God who is the Judge of all, to the spirits of righteous people made perfect, to Jesus (mediator of a new covenant ), and to the sprinkled blood...

Heb. 12:22-24

...your body is a sanctuary of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God... You are not your own, for you were bought at a price. Therefore glorify God in your body*.

1 Cor. 6:19-20

*and keep the Lord's property tidy & clean & neat

For the Grace of God has appeared with salvation for all people, instructing us to deny godlessness and worldly lusts and to live in a sensible, righteous, and godly way in the present age, while we wait for the blessed hope and appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Titus 2:11-13

Therefore, since we have been declared righteous by faith, (let us grasp in faith that) we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. We have also obtained access through Him by faith into this Grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God. And not only that, but we also rejoice in our afflictions, because we know that affliction produces endurance, endurance produces proven character, and proven character produces hope. This hope will not disappoint us, because God’s love has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

Rom. 5:1-5

May you be strengthened with all power, according to His glorious might, for all endurance and patience, with joy giving thanks to the Father, who has enabled you to share in the saints’ inheritance in the light.

Col. 1:11-12

What then are we to say about these things? If God is for us, who is against us? He did not even spare His own Son but offered Him up for us all; how will He not also with Him grant us everything? Who can bring an accusation against God’s elect? God is the One who justifies. Who is the one who condemns? Christ Jesus is the One who died, but even more, has been raised; He also is at the right hand of God and intercedes for us. Who can separate us from the love of Christ? Can affliction or anguish or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? No, in all these things we are more than victorious through Him who loved us.

Rom. 8:31-35, 37

In that day you will not ask Me anything. “I assure you: Anything you ask the Father in My name, He will give you. Until now you have asked for nothing in My name. Ask and you will receive, so that your joy may be complete.

John 16:23-24

For you did not receive a spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption, by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father! ” The Spirit Himself testifies together with our spirit that we are God’s children, and if children, also heirs — heirs of God and coheirs with Christ — seeing that we suffer with Him so that we may also be glorified with Him.

Rom. 8:15-17

And the free gift is not like the result of that one man's sin. For the judgment following one trespass brought condemnation, but the free gift following many trespasses brought justification.

For if, because of one man's trespass, death reigned through that one man, much more will those who receive the abundance of grace and the free gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man Jesus Christ.

Romans 5:16-17

Listen, my dear brothers: Didn’t God choose the poor in this world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom that He has promised to those who love Him?

James 2:5

Keep your life free from love of money & be content with what you have for he has said "I will never leave you nor forsake you".

Heb.13:5

He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed for sowing and increase the harvest of your righteousness. You will be enriched in every way to be generous in every way, which through us will produce thanksgiving to God.

2 Corinthians 9:10-11

Our Perspective is: Wider Heart & Mind

But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you,

Matthew 5:44

We have spoken openly to you, Corinthians; our heart has been opened wide. ...
I speak as to my children. As a proper response, you should also be open to us.
2Cor 6:11,13

Beloved, we are God's children now, and what we will be has not yet appeared; but we know that when he appears we shall be like him, because we shall see him as he is. And everyone who thus hopes in him purifies himself as he is pure.
