Reality - walking in the Truth

The Word became flesh and took up residence (tabernacled) among us.
We observed His glory, the glory as the One and Only Son from the Father,
full of grace and truth.
Jn 1:1, 14
Grace and Truth? Well, the first one is more or less obvious. Meanwhile Truth, or more precisely real-truth, or reality → in Greek: "aletheia" has several meanings in the apostolic mindset.

He acts in the truth

The Greek word translated "truth" is aletheia, which most closely resembles our English word "reality." It means "the manifested, unconcealed essence of a matter." We could say : truth means, precisely, the reality that reveals itself, the true reality that emerges from under the veil, the unconcealed. (see for example: the book of Revelation, in Greek: "apocalypse").
In contrast to the abstract Disciplines of The Law, this truth is a correct reflection of reality in the mind of man, reality is reality-itself.
Alternatively, the word justice is often used with the meaning of righteousness (Greek dikaiosüné = truth, justice, fairness, equity), which means lawfulness, e.g. in litigation, when one acts or acts justly. In contrast, reality is the revealed reality, a person, place, thing, ….1.
Why is this so important to us? Because of our actions. We must respond, live and act in Spirit and in Truth. That is what Jesus Christ expects:
I am the way, the truth, and the life.
Jn 14:6
..everyone who hears these words of Mine and acts on them
will be like a sensible man who built his house on the rock.
Mt 7:24

ID is being built

In the Gospels and apostolic letters we can see the disciples' reaction to the revealed Truth and Reality. In their lives, the meaning of Truth took on a whole new meaning with the personal appearance of Christ.
We observed His glory,
the glory as the One and Only Son from the Father,
full of grace and truth.
Jn 1:14
Immersed with the Holy Spirit, the Christ follower person has been living in the Truth in his/her everyday life and from this position the new identity is built. Jesus came to the Earth, He was living in the Truth and He was the Truth.
Christ Jesus Himself says:
"You shall know the truth,
and the truth shall make you free"
John 8:32
God has revealed all that is necessary for knowledge and salvation, everything required for life and godliness (Rm 8:32; 2Pt 1:3); now, the Truth is revealed in the highest level in Jesus Christ (John 1:14-17; 14:6) when He arrived and tabernacled among us.
John says: The Word made flesh, Jesus Christ, was "full of grace and truth (aletheia)". Then he writes, confessing that grace and truth, that is, reality, were made by Jesus. So everything around us, visible and invisible, natural and supernatural, person, place, all reality, all that exists, came into being through Jesus. All this confirms John's statement a few lines above that "all things were made by him, and without him nothing was made that was made", and the verses in Proverbs chapter 8:22-31. This passage also deals with the creation of reality, creation of the world, and declares that the Messiah was born before these things and had a part in their creation along with the Father. Christians call the creation of this reality creation.2.
Let us read now these apostolic testimonials. I want to encourage You, dear Reader, please pray for the better understanding and revelation:
I love all of you in the truth — and not only I, but also all who have come to know the truth — because of the truth that remains in us and will be with us forever.
I was very glad to find some of your children walking in the truth, in keeping with a command we have received from the Father.
2 Jn 1:1, 1:4
I was very glad when some brothers came and testified to your faithfulness to the truth — how you are walking in the truth. I have no greater joy than this: to hear that my children are walking in the truth.
3 Jn 1:3-4
The apostle Paul also rejoices the Christian believers faithfulness as they walk in the truth:
We always thank God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, when we pray for you, for we have heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and of the love you have for all the saints ..
You have already heard about this hope in the message of truth, the gospel... since the day you heard it and recognized God’s grace in the truth.
You learned this from Epaphras, our dearly loved fellow slave. He is a faithful servant of the Messiah...
Col 1:3-7
..we must always thank God for you, brothers loved by the Lord, because from the beginning God has chosen you for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and through belief in the Truth.
1Thess 2:13
Peter's approach to truth is often linked to the fruits of the character of the new creation. He encourages and nurture human development, supporting the way which gives good character and often goes with effort:
..brothers, make every effort to confirm your calling and election, because if you do these things you will never stumble. For in this way, entry into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ will be richly supplied to you.
Therefore I will always remind you about these things, even though you know them and are established in the truth you have.
2Pt 1:10-11 → see: 1Pt 2:9 as identity
Jesus himself identifies himself with reality when he says, "I am the Way, the Truth - reality in the original - , and the Life". In the Law we have the form of knowledge and reality, but Jesus Christ is reality itself.
God is looking for worshippers who worship in spirit and in reality. Reality sets free the one who knows it. Moreover, the Father sends the Spirit of reality who abides in the children of God and leads them into all reality.
The Word also warns us to abide in reality, for there will be an age when people will "suffer sound doctrine", "gathering for themselves teachers according to their own desires", turning away from reality.
On the other hand, God's decision, his judgement, his judgement of particular things, processes, persons, etc., are always true (aletheinos - real, true, credible) and just (dikaios - just, fair, impartial, accurate). He never turns away from reality.3.
