Outreach and Missional testimonies & tools

I am the vine; you are the branches.
Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.

Jn 15:5

This is a Dutch mission, established cca. 20 years ago, where certain churches support and keep eastern European Missional out reaches. The mission practically helps the households by repairing or donating machines. Various resources needed for the mission, prepared frequent staff included.

· Eastern European Mission - Kema

Focus, values, and places

The KEMA mission is a biblical values foundation. It was originally started during the communist era to provide aid to the countries of Eastern Europe. To this day, its assistance is provided in two areas:
- Staff members and workers organise mission trips for evangelism.
- The mission reaches many places with charitable and other social projects.
Nowadays, some people are demanding that the name of the Kema should change with the political changes, as new generations have a different view of the position of EU nations. The stronger integration of the mainly Balkan countries shows a promising future for the mission organisation and the communities involved. In particular, there are greater opportunities due to changing tariffs/taxes and expanding economic links.
The dominant mission activity for the 2020s is to help people living in Ukrainian territory. The majority of donations are directed there, both in terms of material resources and in the area of evangelism.

Features and method

The mission has no specific, exclusive objectives. However, it makes a point of tracking the aid down to the targeted groups and individuals. This is obviously important, especially in areas where corruption is strong in the local culture.
Kema has core staff in every areas, with volunteers. The mission does not work alone: over the years, they have built an organic network of partnerships with organisations and churches in neighbouring countries. This network is inter-denominational. While the Catholic Church is not short of networking, here in this case Protestant communities and foundations often link up with Kema's activities while retaining autonomy. However, Kema also contributes to the campaigns of other organisations. {from reformed/Calvinist or Baptist churches to smaller charismatic communities} For example: When it comes to helping local prison mission, Kema works with the Reformed prison ministry. If the local Baptist Church - in other cases - has an active mental-helper and social ministry, the current pastor is the partner: the co-worker in the task.

A mission – A Church

This is a Mission among the locals & refugees – aka : immersing agape

They have been actively working for the vulnerable, taking social actions for migrant communities and families for decades, the community centre itself is the local mission headquarter:
Shelter For Women On Their Own or With Children
Educational outreach for the poor
Another important branch of the church activity is the support and education of "Unaccompanied Foreign Minors". They support foreign unaccompanied minors who have not been recognised and who are appealing to have their minority status recognised. In this situation, it is essential to support them, as they are not taken care of by any system dedicated to adults or minors.
And they also have a second-hand clothes shop "boutique solidares aux carrés" next door where they are regularly visited by the local community.

The Church ‘The Reconciliation’ is a member of the Federation of the Baptist Evangelical Churches of France and of the Protestant Federation of France which gathers a great part of the French Protestants, and also of the National Council of the Evangelicals of France which brings together most of the Protestant Evangelical Churches and works of France.

• London City Mission

Description
The mission cannot be described by one or two key words. Behind the scenes the engaged people shares their life, gives practical helps, writes a blog and make numerous event as the "stretched arm" of the Church. They are for:
Estates, Seniors, Young people, Islam & other religions, Homeless & marginalized, Diaspora communities, Churches...
Here's a part of their vision :
We want to see Jesus Christ known in every community in London.
That means reaching one in two people, in one of the biggest cities in Europe.
How on earth can that happen?
It can be achieved by building up and equipping what we believe to be the most precious and powerful thing on earth... the Church.
Think of all the thousands of evangelical churches across London. Think of the hundreds of thousands of Christians, with the potential and desire to share their faith (many are already doing it!).
The problem is, something often gets in the way.
Sometimes Christians don’t feel confident or equipped to speak about Jesus, particularly with people who are different to them. Imagine all these churches across London released to lovingly and confidently share the good news of Jesus with those around them!

Prayer Cars

Prayer Buses
description

Around 2023, couple of Spanish shepherds joined forces to rent a Red, English, Doubledecker Bus. The idea was simple. They were burning with the desire to reach the inhabitants of isolated settlements {villages} with the gospel.
The Bus Project is a great opportunity to form a team of like-minded people who care about the Great Commission.
Of course, you don't need such a large budget. Every Christian community has one or two businesses that own vans, minibuses. When using a camper, the interior space is perfectly intimate and you don't have to change the enteriour. If you use a small truck, you can ask the creative members of the community to "convert it" into a small room with a comfortable sofa small table, and lamp. Since you have no windows in this case, the door is always open and a tent is recommended in front of the door.
At the same time, when we stop somewhere, it's a great community space outside for conversations and film screenings, café, lunch, alpha...

Tip

· You need permission for parking and for the representation {community feast}
· Use flags: Symbols related to the names of God and the deeds of Jesus Christ.
· Never use copyrighted material! If possible, avoid direct church culture and artistic expression.
· Provide face painting and lot of indoor /outdoor games for children, as well as plenty of comfortable garden furniture!
Also Important! The bus project is not old-fashioned tent evangelism with long sermons, and it is not intended for churchgoers. Preparation is necessary, as is selecting the right people.
This is a missionary task in which many find their place, and it is also a challenge that requires prayer.
Experience shows that continuous prayer, praise, and intercession are necessary throughout the entire outreach.

Free Office venue

description
The basic idea: share space, share life with others! The free office space provides assistance, help {and solace} to young entrepreneurs. The office space can be reserved until noon or 1 p.m., after which a fee is charged.
It's a great opportunity for guests to experience our office culture and have lunch and coffee together. Testimonies are always there - sometimes in the non verbal form.

Tip

· You need a good coffe machine in the common foyer
· Fast Wi-Fi is a basic

Cafè

Coffee house with various functions
description

coffee houses are probably the most multicultural places in the world. They can be found in every major city and most rural centers.
In many cases, we find a special place for tea and coffee culture at the center of a particular subculture. Sometimes the local coffee roaster operates its own coffee shop. Many coffee shops host musical and other cultural events. These have a small stage and sometimes a smaller room suitable for exhibitions.
Café is the casual way to share the Christian lifestyle. Question: is Your Christian lifestyle reflects Jesus' life and his desire to save the people or Your message is narrowed to the equipments and customs around you?
What you really need for a good coffe house is..
· a good coffee machine
a good one: for beginners a Breville bambino, a used Gaggia or Rancilio, for advanced fans: La Marzocco, but basically what the maintenance firm supports. Grinder should be separated (!) a "sturdy one" also. You must find a professional barist - at least in the beginning - to teach your team.
· old refurbished stuff
Some de-lacked furniture /vitrin, etc. demands less demanding budget. · fresh reliable staff
And it has meaning: reliable as coffe house culture, event enthusiast but trustful also. You need constant prayer and devoted persons.

The list is growing...
Others are Coming soon...
