Restoring the place of the Holy Spirit

Image
{Rebuilding the respect and authority of the Holy Spirit in your life} (a rude, shaking calling, because sometimes we need that) Dear Reader! Honoring the Holy Spirit does not necessarily mean that we missed the focus of Christ! We do not praise or worship anyone but the Father and Christ. We don't rejoice or worship anyone else or anything else in our blessed new status in Christ! But He, the Lord himself gave the Mighty Spirit for us. Has our relationship with God changed throughout history? Yes. We, humans had tribes, we had nation builder heroes, we had covenants. Then He the Mighty visited Abraham. Then He has built a chosen nation. Then He sent the Promised Son. Has our relationship in Christ changed throughout history? Not. He didn’t withdraw his mercy and gift. He didn't change our intimate relationship in the family. He did not renounce his power as Lord of the universe, nor the supreme authority above us and the visible authori...

The man after God's own heart

Image
David Guzik – enduringword.com ..let's talk about the man after God's own heart, reading from 1 Samuel chapter 13 verses 13 and 14. “You have done a foolish thing,” Samuel said {to king Saul}. “You have not kept the command the Lord your God gave you; if you had, he would have established your kingdom over Israel for all time. But now your kingdom will not endure; the Lord has sought out a man after his own heart and appointed him ruler of his people, because you have not kept the Lord’s command.” NIV King Saul sinned foolishly before the Lord. He failed to keep God's commandment and Saul made excuses instead of getting right with God. It wasn't only that Saul sinned, the sin came from a heart far from God. Therefore God promised to take the kingdom away from Saul and his family. Through the prophet Samuel, God told Saul, 'but now your kingdom shall not continue'. From these words, we might expect Saul to be removed as king right at that m...

Az Isten szíve szerint való ember

Image
A bűn Istentől távol álló szívéből fakadt.

Desiring mercy - love

Image
When Jesus/Yeshua/Isa was humiliated and lashed he had to learn the total annihilation. Annihilation by Sin and the mechanically used Law. By Sin: through our human cruel nature. By Law: through human "rules" the misunderstanding of the Holy Law, the ineffectiveness of the so called Law-culture. Facing its cruelty when it faces the mercy, release, grace and the domain of reconciliation. Hos 6:6 says: "I desire mercy {loyalty-love}   not sacrifice The knowledge of Gd   not burnt offerings" This is an essential ingredient for the dynamic of the Kingdom, even today. Knowledge of Gd = faithful loyal love. Mercy, (even when confronted with secular order, trend, or religious spirits) = sync with Gd. Consequently: If The knowledge of Gd is mercy, it's action. The knowledge of Gd is knowing/practicing His thoughts and living out them: This is how we read: "walking in the Truth" . John says: I was very glad when some brother...

Megszabadultak bűneiktől és meggyógyultak Jézus által

Image

Freed from their sins and healed by Jesus

Image
Being able to help people in such an extraordinary way has given you a certain satisfaction, I suppose. I was very, very happy to see that some people were cured. But I never forgot who the Helper was. Whenever a letter like that came to me about healing, I would kneel down with those words: 'Look, My Saviour, this is for You, the thanks are for You,... but I can rejoice in this too, can't I? Were you also a pastor of the sick? I suppose praying over the sick and caring for the sick go hand in hand. If I was called to see a patient, that was the first question before prayer: "Is everything okay between you and the Savior?" In many cases, confession followed, clearing the way for a prayer of faith. James did not write in vain: "...even if he has sinned, he will be forgiven" (James 5:14-17) ... I am thinking here of the story of the healing of the man with a stroke (Matthew 9:2), who was first freed from his sins and then heal...

About holiness

Image
by David Guzik - Enduring Word Who is able to stand before this holy Lord God? 1Sam 6:19-20 the whole story: 1Sam 6:1-21 You see, in their disrespect for God, the men of Beth Shemesh offended the holiness of the Lord. They knew that the Lord was holy, but it didn't make them want to be closer to God. It made them want to distance themselves from God. The basic idea behind holiness is not moral purity, although it includes moral purity, but the basic idea behind holiness is the idea of apartness, that God is separate. He's apart different from His creation, both in His essential nature that's who He is and in the perfection of His attributes, His character and what He does. When men encounter the holiness of God, they are not necessarily attracted to it. When Peter saw the holy power of Jesus, he said, depart from me for I am a sinful man, O Lord. (That's in Luke chapter 5, verse 8.) When the disciples on another occasion saw the holy Jesus s...

When Jesus Christ multiplies

Image
Late in the day, the Twelve approached and said to Him, “Send the crowd away, so they can go into the surrounding villages and countryside to find food and lodging, because we are in a deserted place here.” “You give them something to eat,” He told them. “We have no more than five loaves and two fish,” they said, “unless we go and buy food for all these people.” (For about 5,000 men were there.) Then He told His disciples, “Have them sit down in groups of about 50 each.” They did so, and had them all sit down. Then He took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, He blessed and broke them. He kept giving them to the disciples to set before the crowd. Everyone ate and was filled. Then they picked up 12 baskets of leftover pieces. Luke 9:12-17 When Jesus multiplies He goes through the same process, taking us through the stages that lead to the movement: 1st he sets down the crowd, attenuating the stir, (Ps. 46:10) then re-orienting their...

Brotherly Love in the Church

Image
Sándor Háló – igemorzsa.hu "We also have this commandment from him, that he who loves God should love his brother." 1 John 4:21 We are sorely lacking in brotherly love in the church. Many who profess to love the Saviour make no effort to love those who are united with them in Christian fellowship. Our faith is one. We are all members of the same family, children of the same heavenly Father, with the same hope of immortality. How intimate and tender, then, should be the bond that binds us together! The world is watching, wanting to see if our faith sanctifies us. The secular will immediately notice every shortcoming in our lives, every inconsistency in our actions. Let us not give them an opportunity to attack our faith... There is no surer way to weaken our spirituality than to envy one another, to distrust, to be full of fault-finding and suspicion... This is not wisdom from above... The wisdom that comes from above is... peace-lovin...

Testvéri szeretet a Gyülekezetben

Image
Mindnyájan egyazon család tagjai vagyunk, ugyanannak a mennyei Atyának a gyermekei, a halhatatlanságnak ugyanazon reménységével. A világiak azonnal észreveszik életünk minden hiányosságát, tetteink minden következetlenségét.

We keep ourselves in the love of God

Image
by David Guzik - Enduring Word Today, I want to talk to you about walking forward with God and to do so by looking Inward. Teaching from the Apostle Jude I'm going to read you from Jude, chapter 1, and thoroughly is one chapter in this book of Jude... This is Jude, chapter 1, verses 20 and 21, where we read: But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. (previously) Jude explained in his letter warnings about certain men who were a danger to the church. And in response, Jude did not tell us to go out and crush those certain men who were a danger to the church, instead, he told us to focus on our walk with the Lord, to help others who were affected by those certain dangerous men, and for us to put our focus on God. ... We are simply to pay such dangerous men no attention except what is necessary for our w...

Megőrizzük magunkat Isten szeretetében

Image
by David Guzik - Enduring Word Ma arról szeretnék beszélni nektek, hogyan haladjunk Istennel együtt előre. Ezt tegyük úgy, hogy befelé nézünk. Júdás apostol tanítása Júdás könyvének 1. fejezetéből fogok felolvasni nektek, alaposan végigvesszük a fejezetet ebben a könyvben... ... Egyszerűen nem szabad az ilyen veszé...
