The Catholic man in the Protestantism
"Catholicism" in the Protestantism
From the non-religious, Bible centered standpoint: Catholicism exists wherever the religious focus is earthly. Where people are more interested in their own catholicos: universal {means: human} traditions, human opinion, human philosophical tendency about God than God's declared / written opinion on them.
This also means that the Catholic man can be found in the Protestant community too - where he seats, acts and speaks. Forthis is not a religious definition but a state of heart : alienated from God, a kind of mystical humanism where all questions of faith start from an earthly perspective, creating myths instead of relationship with God.
God is a social being, not a religion. He cannot be deceived by self-righteous ego centric theories or seemingly good actions by our own ideas. They are no substitute for time spent with him, for shared laughter and pain and learning and discovery - and rebuke. If we enjoy this intimate relationship, we will certainly go out and proclaim God's love and message.
Moses, Samuel, David, Jesus Christ and his apostles teach us openly about this two phases. They also teach morals and social behaviour - but all of this is springed by a personal encounter with the character of Gd and Jesus Christ the Messiah and by the new, redeemed life.

When we talk about the "Catholic person" we should see the original definition which refers to a diverse spirituality, not some religious tradition and trend contrary to Protestantism but the attitude of a person, based on his culture, family and community.Definition of the Catholic
Catholicism is a rich and diverse reality...
The word Catholic is derived from the Greek adjective, katholikos, meaning "universal," and from the adverbial phrase, kath' holou, meaning "on the whole." The term was first used by St. Ignatius of Antioch (d.c. 107) in his Letter to the Smyrneans..
Ever since the Reformation, the word has commonly been used in opposition to Protestant, but its real opposite is sectarian, which pertains to a part of the Church that has separated itself off from the worldwide Church..

2Pt 1:16
For we did not follow cleverly devised myths when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but we had been eyewitnesses of his majesty.
Prov 18:2
A fool takes no pleasure in understanding,
but only in expressing personal opinion.
In this sense, the simplistic sectarian worldview and its many variations are - also, universally {catholic way} found everywhere. So the sectarian {and the 'Protestant' sectarian} is not really the opposite of the Catholic man. For we did not follow cleverly devised myths when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but we had been eyewitnesses of his majesty.
Prov 18:2

God's companionship
God has a good plan for us, but this is the "Plan A". To understand this we must spend much time with God and little in the company of the theorist. This already applies to the Catholicism of modern Protestant man.
Mk 3:14
